Session Guitarist.....
Guitar teaching has been Ian's main job since 2003 and has entered over 300 pupils for grade examinations. He teaches all abilities and levels and only available now for mentoring, meaning less regular lessons (once every two weeks or series of sessions) but lessons designed to help a learning guitarist achieve personal goals - this may include improvisation, rhythm guitar, technique building, notation, theory....etc. All styles accepted.

'Music is a universal language'
Ian Marshall has been a professional guitarist, entertainer, musician, teacher, mentor, educator for over 15 years working for Yamaha, Leicester College, record labels and freelance. He's been in both professional covers and original touring bands and has been a recorded and live session guitarist playing with charting artist Miss 600 and was featured in Series II of Sky Arts program Guitar Star. Currently working as a Team Leader for Nottingham Music Service Ian teaches guitar to children and mentors learners through the Certificate for Music Educators (CME) and is on the exam board for the Music Education Hubs of East Midlands CME course.
